Which in you rexperience is the best website for discount hotels? Aso, has anyone tried priceline for Berlin?

We%26#39;ve used venere several times and always been very satisfied. Prices are good; pay on checkout. octopustravel.co.uk sometimes undercuts them but there you pay on booking and there is a cancellation charge if trip falls through for any reason.

For Berlin we booked an apartment through 123berlinerzimmer.de and got a great place on Novalisstrasse in Mitte, for 75€ a night for 3 (60 for 2). Get a taste of non-touristy berlin that way.

I think you should check out www.dhr.de. You can send them an email with your request and they will check out the best available rates for you. You can´t book online on their site but the rates you get are really good!

i only had good experience as these guys seem to check any available rate, even ones that are not published on the internet. maybe may itself is an expensive month. no idea!

Try hotelscomparison.com. This compares prices offred by many of the brokers available ,including agents like Venere. You can narrow down your search as well eg look for only 3 star hotels or search by hotel name. Once you find a good price it is also worth checking direct with the hotel itself as you may get even cheaper rates.

I just checked your approx dates where i normally stay and they are fairly cheap so there doesn%26#39;t seem to be anything special on,i%26#39;m sure you will finf what you want

i like the intercontinental, i have an ambassador card which gives you upgrades as well as a free weekend night. There is transport nearby, as well as a view of thr Tiergarten. If you want more ideas mail me at ian@red4fred.com
