You have to go straight trough the whole city. However, transfer is fairly convenient, easiest way from Schönefeld to Tegel is:
- take Airport Express train from Schönefeld Station, plat 7 (6 mins walk from terminal), to Zoologischer Garten Station takes roughly 35 mins (every 30 mins leaving Schönefeld at XX:26 and XX:54)
- from Zoologischer Garten Station take bus X9 to Tegel Airport, takes 17 mins (every 10 mins leaving Zoo Station at XX:00, XX:10, XX:20,...)
- cost of ow ticket is 2,10 EUR (Berlin AB) for entire journey
