Is there a U or S Bahn that connects Postdam and Berlin?

Hello, I will be in Berlin for the World Cup in June and am having a hard time finding hotels in Berlin. How easy is it to get from Potsdam to Berlin via a S or U Bahn?

Danke!

Yes. Indeed there is!

The S-Bahn line S1 links central Berlin to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. In the centre of Berlin the line passes through Nordbahnhof, Oranienburger Straße, Friedrichstraße, Unter den Linden and Potsdamer Platz.

Potsdam is intergrated into the Berlin metropolitan transport area and thus you can use Berlin travelcards on all buses, trains and trams in Potsdam, provided you ticket is valid for Berlin zone C.
