Looking for quality but not expensive hotel near ku%26#39;damm. Am i being unrealistic?

try www.dhr.de give them your requirements by email and see if they can find you a deal

I got swissotel through them for €310 for 3 nights 2 ppl with breakfast - no other site was near that price

hotel was very good too

apparently Berlin is one of the cheapest cities in Europe - we certainly found it very good value all round so you should get what you are looking for.

The KU DAM 101 Hotel is maybe the best hotel I%26#39;ve ever stayed in ANYWHERE in the world!

Give it a try,very reasonable prices %26amp; great staff!

I also can recommend the Ku%26#39;dam 101 hotel. Very nice hotel, friendly staff, superb breakfast.

|||

is ku%26#39;damn hotel very minimalsitic and hi tech?

http://www.kudamm101.com/

http://www.kurfuerstendamm.de/

has e.g. infos about all hotels at the Ku%26#39;damm and adjacent streets.

I have heard good things about 101, but it is a long way down Ku%26#39;dam away from Schonberg and Mitte so a lot of tavelling is involved. The Crowne Plaza might be worth checking out, it is only a couple of omins from Ku%26#39;dasm and Kadewe. The Dorint Sofitel Schweitzerhof is also close by

Hi Hemikiwi! We just returned from Berlin last week and we stayed at the Hotel Concorde Berlin opposite the Swissotel, it%26#39;s in the middle of everything close to the underground station, and all the good shops, and for a very good price still for a 5*, since it just opened. Try their website or the octopus website which includes breakfast too. Have a nice time in Berlin!

|||

I can%26#39;t really agree with bongoblog about the 101 being a long way away from Schöneberg or Mitte. It%26#39;s not exactly in walking distance from the Zoo/KaDeWe but it doesn%26#39;t take more than 10 min by bus to get there. You have also the S-Bahn in walking distance. Anyway, if one has some time you can actually walk there ... it just takes a bit.

Well most of the people who claim that the 101 is isolated haven%26#39;t done their homework on the FANTASTIC Berlin transportation system! :)

Exactly outsisde the hotel there are 2 bus stations with METRO BUSES (%26amp; regular buses %26amp; NIGHT buses) running every 2-3 mins.

These buses can take you almost anywhere in Berlin VERY fast %26amp; eficiently.

The WEISSENSEE S-BAHN station is a 3 min walk from the entrance of the hotel (very hand especialy if you want to go to the airpots) %26amp; the Addenauer U bahn station is a short 10 min walk too (you can also take one of the extremely frequent) buses to go there is 1 min!

Go to the Berlin transportation site for infos on trains %26amp; buses

Sorry I meant HALENSEE S BAHN station!
