Can anyone tell me where are the best places to buy televisions in Munich. That is apart from Saturn.

Thanks for the help

MediaMarkt!

There are four of them in Munich:

Bodenseestraße 297, 81249 München

Maria-Probst-Straße 11, 80939 München

Drygalski-Allee 31, 81477 München

Einsteinstraße 130, 81675 München

...or perhaps Quelle or Karstadt.

Look in the local newspaper ad inserts for what%26#39;s on sale. That should also give you an idea of what%26#39;s a good price if you want to buy elsewhere.

thanks for the replies. Not after anything cheap - Pioneer, Sony Panasonic 50 inch plasma tv, but Saturn didn%26#39;t have any in stock at the weekend and said they would not have any more till March. Prices in Germany for electronic goods are 30% cheaper than in Prague

Do you mean 40 inch (106 cm)? Media Markt in Stuttgart recently advertised a Panasonic 40 inch (TH 42 PA 50 Plasma TV) for 1649 euros. That was the cheapest brand of similar TVs.

42 inch Pioneer PDP 42A3HD or equivalent in Panasonic or Sony or 50 inch Pioneer PDP 5060HD or equivalent - the PA range of Panasonic%26#39;s is old technology; I understand I need to PV range. They have just introduced digital TV here and when you are talking 3000 Euros plus, 30% saving which Saturn quoted us if we could wait till March (my wife wants to watch the olympic figure skating on big screen TV so can%26#39;t wait till then) is a lot of money. Seems silly to come to Germany when the Panasonics are made in the Czech Republic anyway, but that shows how much the shops here rip people off when you can drive for a day and bring the same thing back for cheaper
