ICE T, ICE Sprinter question?

Been researching the DB website.

Are there other routes other than the Köln-Mannheim-Stuttgart and the Darmstadt-Berlin via FRA for the sprinter?

How can I find which routes use a ICE T(tilting) trains?

Thanks.

The newer ICE trains from Munich through Dusseldorf are the tilting version. Between Frankfurt and Dusseldorf, these trains reach speeds up to 300km/h!

#GrandP

The trains from Munich to Düsseldorf are ICE-3 (class 403) or ICE-3M (class 406) trainsets. No tilting ICE-Ts (class 411/415).

2 reasons

a) only ICE-3 and ICE-3M trains can use for technical reasons the highspeed line between Frankfurt and Cologne on the way from Munich to Düsseldorf.

b) the max. speed of an ICE-T is just 230 kph. Only the ICE-3 and ICE-3M can reach speeds of 300 kph.

From the design the ICE-3/ICE-3M look however very similar to the ICE-Ts.

Thank you for the input. Exactly what I was looking for.

I should have elaborated better...the ICE 3 and ICE 3M both tilt like the ICE T. The stretch between Frankfurt and Cologne I think is the coolest in Germany, especially at night...

The ICE3 and ICE3M do not tilt. ICE-T%26#39;s tilt (the %26quot;T%26quot; is a bit of a giveaway). ICE3%26#39;s are very fast trains for dedicated high-speed lines, such as Frankfurt - Cologne. It sure is impressive, but there%26#39;s no tilting involved.

From memory the ICE-Ts are in service on the Frakfurt-Leipzig line?
