Transportation help please!

I would like some recommendation as which kind of transportation to use when arriving in Berlin next Tuesday (the 27th) and we are staying at the Concorde Berlin at Augsburger Strasse, 41. We will be arriving at the Tegel airport at about 11 in the morning. Which bus should i use, X9 or 109 and which stop should we go out, at the zoo or not? Do you think it%26#39;s worth to take a taxi instead?

Thank you very much

From: TXL

To: Ausburger Str. 41

Bus 109 is better as you don%26#39;t have to change.

Single ticket is EUR 2,10 in any case.

If you take the bus 109 from the airport than you need to get off at the stop U-Bahnhof Kurfürstendamm from where it%26#39;s only a short walking distance (about 5 min.) to your hotel.

If you take the bus X9 you need to get off at the zoo from where you can either walk (about 10 min.) or take another bus (for example the bus M46) for one stop to U-Bahnhof Kurfürstendamm from where you can walk to your hotel.

You could take a taxi which is certainly the most comfortable option but will cost you more than a single ticket to your hotel. From the airport to your hotel a taxi should cost you around 10-15 euro (I think) while a single ticket for the public transport will cost you 2,10 euro.

Than you Abalada and Berlingal for your advice. The 109 seems much more convenient but with this cold and the luggage we will be carrying i think we%26#39;d better stick with the taxi, it%26#39;s not that expensive after all! I hope we will find easily a taxi outside the airport!

Merry christmas to you both!

You wont have a problem finding a taxi outside of the airport ... there will be enough around.
