Celebrate new year's eve in Berlin

Hi, are there any special activities in Berlin during the 31st of december at night in the streets or at a park for the celebration of the new year?

Berlin is the place to be for new year. Was there 2 years ago and will be there this new years eve again. There are plenty of party%26#39;s for every budget. Just take a look at www.sylvester.de . If you want to spent the countdown outside on the street, Unter den Linden is the best place to go. From early evening on, people will be gathering on the streets, play fireworks and enjoy the drinks they brought from home. There will be live music, so with the wheather permitting, you will have a great time without spending a months pay. (partys at the Mayor Hotels will cost you hundreds of euros per person)

There is a huge party at and around the Brandenburg Gate. A lot of people will also meet up at the Teufelsberg to watch the fireworks but it%26#39;s not a big party or so.
