Cologne over Christmas

Afternoon,

I will be visiting Cologne over the Christmas weekend along with some family. Can anyone tell me whether shops/restuarants and general attractions will be open over this time. And any other suggestions for what is to see over that time of the year in the city?

I don%26#39;t know too much about Colone, but I can give you some gerneral Info.

-Shops will close at 24th around noon (max open till 2pm)and reopen Tuesday 27th.

- Restaurants may be closed 24th in the evening or have set menus. But It%26#39;s no too big problem fnding something.

- Going out in the evening on 24th is often a little bit tricky. Many Bars are closed and some open quite late (22h00)

- Sights and attractions are often closed on 24th, some also 25th. But you have to enquire this for every sigh/museum.

- If you want to vistit the %26quot;Dom%26quot; remember that there are many services on 24th and 25th. So vistiting is limited
