Thamks for the info. I am going skiing at the end of Feb %26amp; my usual gesthouse is having a rebuild.

Can anyone else recomend anywhere else to the east of Freiburg?

St. Peter isn%26#39;t a really good location for alpine skiing... only very few very small slopes nearby, on the Kandel mountain. If the weather plays along there are nice cross-country skiing tracks. For skiing in the Black Forest you should go to Feldberg.

For the last 2 years we have skiied in Muggenbrunn as there was loads of snow. We keep Feldberg in reserve is case there is not much snow %26amp; it is higher.

We like to drive in each day rather than stay at the resort, hence looking near Freiberg for a small hotel or pension.
