Does anybody know any campsite info for Cologne area. Hotels have massively inflated prices for England game so need to seek alternate accomodation. Thanks in advance. Paul.

There are normally few campsites close to big cities. 95% of the campers in Germany are German or Dutch townsfolk heading for the countrysite.

You have also to consider that

a) the bulk of ticket holders are Germans

b) 5 of the 9 countries neighbouring Germany take part in the World Cup (Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland)

c) and that it%26#39;s not far from England, Sweden and Italy either

all the above may pack their car or RV and head for the campsites.
