Which Seefeld? Seefeld in Tirol (Austria)?

DB timetable

From: Seefeld in Tirol

To: Zugspitze

The cogwheel train station of Zugspitzbahn is a short walk (4 min) from the train station in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Will be taken into account by the DB timetable automatically.

The cable car times are however not in the DB timetable.

A day ticket - there is no shorter/cheaper alternative - is EUR 36,00. Covers the cogwheel train and the cable cars. Thus make the round trip. If you can present a (return) train ticket you%26#39;ll get a discount of EUR 4,00.

To: Mittenwald

Just keep the default and ignore the drop-down list. The DB timetable will suggest the most likely destination first - which is mostly correct.

There is only one Mittenwald. And a place called Mittenwalde (Mark) which is near Berlin. As the DB timetable covers ALL local public transport in Germany there are some 400.000 stops for Germany in the system. Mostly it is correct to keep the default (= town name). This will be either the Bahnhof (railway station), Hauptbahnhof (main railway station) or a central bus stop (like market place, town hall). In doubt check the route under details.

In the case of Mittenwald it%26#39;s obvious that it cannot be far. The one with 20 minutes travel time by train is the correct one.
