My two friends and I are going to europe this july, how does the berlin nightlife compare to london, amsterdam, brussels? does it happen during the week? we%26#39;re 35-37, is it all kids or is there a thirties crowd??

On the club scene, Berlin has a more active nightlife than any of the cities you named (And I have indulged in the nightline in all of them). Amsterdam may have the edge on sexually oriented nightlife, but Berlin has always been nightlife oriented. Although I haven%26#39;t been to Berlin since the night the wall came down (talk about nightlife. what a night!), I understand the club scene in what use to be East Berlin is cutting edge, but I believe it does center on a younger crowd. I partied in what use to be West Berlin when I was in my late 30%26#39;s and felt totally at home.
And yes, it does happen during the week.

Berlin has a pretty good nightlife and is in my opinion a bit better than the nightlife in London. Haven%26#39;t been out in Amsterdam or Brussels so can%26#39;t say much about the nightlife there.
Berlins nightlife has something on offer for everyone. Whatever day of the week you%26#39;ll find a club which plays music you like.
In some clubs the majority of people will be in their early or mid twenties but you%26#39;ll find enough clubs with an older crowd. I quite like the After Work Party at the Trompete on Thursdays or the Schöne Parte at the Kalkscheune.
