List of towns that the train stops at from Munich to...

Hi all,

I am planning to spend a week doing the RR in June 06 and particluarly wanted to stop in Dinkelsbuhl, but on looking at the information on the web the train doesnt go there!! I was hoping to travel on the bayern pass and find the train website a bit hard to get detailed information from.

Any help would be appreciated - thank you!

DB timetable

http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en

From: Munich

To: Rothenburg ob der Tauber Bahnhof

To: Dinkelsbuehl Bahnhof

If you check out the %26quot;details%26quot; of a connection you can click there on %26quot;show intermediate stops%26quot;.

Dinkelsbühl (or Dinkelsbuehl) is not served by trains anymore. It can%26#39;t be thus on the train route to Rothenburg.

If Bayern Pass = Bavaria Ticket --%26gt; this ticket covers since Nov. 2005 all local public transport in Bavaria, thus also the buses to Dinkelsbühl.

Go to www.bahn.de, click on English. Put in where you want to start and it will give you connections between various cities: Munich, Rothenburg, and Dinkelsbuehl ob den Taub etc. It will include buses as well as trains. You can take train part way and bus the rest. It seems neither Rothenburg or Dinkelbuhl have very good train connections if at all.

You might check the site for the Romantic Road bus:

Many of the popular rail passes are accepted on this route, and it%26#39;s an easy way to get to some of the smaller towns along the route.

We took the Romantic Road bus on our first trip to Germany about twenty years ago, and it%26#39;s one of our fondest memories of that trip. Since then, we%26#39;ve returned to Rothenburg several times.
