Fruehlingsfest Area?

Can someone help me to where the central location for Fruehlingsfest is held? What district of town? (if there is a central location)

I know Munich sites are spread out but maybe someone can tell me an area of the city that is good to stay to be central to most sites? We like to walk but we will also take cabs and public transport.

Yes, the same site as the Oktoberfest and another opportunity for several Erdinger Weißbraü%26#39;s. April 21 to May 7, 2006. North side take U-4 or U-5 from Karlsplatz to Theresienwiese. South side take U-3 or U-6 from Marienplatz to Poccistraße.
