My boyfriend and I are traveling to Germany for a week vacation, but we have NO IDEA where to go or what to see. We are both 22 and would like some places that have night life, but I%26#39;m very much into sightseeing. Any information would be nice as to what is a must, and towns that are a must. Thanks!

Germany is full of interesting things to see and do, almost anywhere should be fine. Get some good books on Germany with nice pictures and select places that appeal to you to visit, select an area, and see other near-by attractions. If you select a larger city (better nightlife), with the excellent public transportation you can easly access most places in that city and nearby areas. Or perhaps driving through the German countryside might appeal to you. Attendng a beer or wine festival, a religious or historic one, etc. can be great fun so you might look at what is happening event-wise when you are traveling.
I know that Stuttgart is big on Hip-Hop if that interests you, but being much older we don%26#39;t really participate in the night-life scene.

MarcoPolko is right. Still, for a person of your age, I would personally recommend Berlin at first. It%26#39;s the most vibrant German city with a very diverse nightlife and rich culture (ancient as well as contemporary). From there you could either go to Hamburg (very underestimated in my opinion) for the %26quot;up-north at the sea%26quot;-experience or Dresden for the %26quot;old Europe and lots of old buildings%26quot;-feeling. Both offer good options for going out, even though Hamburg might be better there.
If you%26#39;re not into big cities, forget everything I wrote. Then you would really have to make up your mind about the kind of experience you want (mountains? castles? walled cities? beaches and sea? etc.)
