My parents will be travelling around Southwestern Germany by train and leaving on June 8th through Calais by ferry across the English Channel. Do you think arriving traffic for the World Cup will make travel a problem in that area before the World Cup starts on June 9th?

The opening game takes place in Munic on June 9th, so I don%26#39;t think your parents will habe any problems there. Actually, I don%26#39;t think that the World Cup will cause any major traffic jams anyway, except for the areas around the stadiums. German motorways are always crowded and they get even more crowded when German summer holidays start. But that will not be the case until the end of June.
