Skiing/sightseeing at Berchtesgaden?

Hello,

My husband and I are planning a last-minute ski trip for this weekend and thought about visiting Berchtesgaden to combine skiing with sightseeing. I am a beginner skier so we do not need challenging skiing. What is the area like at this time of year and would it be a good time to see the Eagles Nest and other sights?

Thanks for your advice.

You will only be able to see the The Eagles Nest now by looking upwards because the road leading up to it is closed between roughly Mid October to roughly mid May. As a beginner skier you should have no problem as long as you follow the expert local advice.

In my opinion you cannot fail to enjoy the sights. How will you be travelling? Bob.

This may be too late to catch you, however the skiing at the Jenner is excellent The base station for the gondola lift is on the way to the Koenigsee. There%26#39;s plenty of snow this year. If skiing from the top is too much ( he begiinig is a bit steep), just ski from the half-way station of the lift. But be sure to go to the top for the sights. They are almost as good as from the Kehlsteinhaus (Eagles Nest)
